Create videos from text prompts

This is wild

Using AI tools, you can create 4-second video clips from a text prompt.

So today I made an 8-second video of a geisha by stitching together two of these short clips.

How to do this

I used a new tool called RunwayML. They’re well funded and making some badass stuff.

Sign up for an account.

Then head over the the text-to-image section and use Generation 2.

Type your prompt and wait a minute or two.

Prompt

“Panorama of a geisha surrounded by cherry blossoms”

Extra secret tricks

• They also have a feature that’s image-to-video

• You can use another tool to generate an image like Midjourney

• Then upload that image to RunwayML to generate a video clip
